Principal, Design & Construction
Rebecca Jensen is a principal at Kensington Investment Group, where she is primarily responsible for directing and managing all facets of property design, renovation and development. Based in San Francisco, CA, Rebecca takes a unique "return on design investment" approach to real estate construction. This, combined with her prior industry focus on advertising and market research has shaped her into a strong proponent of an evidence-based design process.
Prior to joining Kensington Investment Group, Rebecca worked at Rosetta, a large digital marketing agency with industry-leading clients such as Samsung, Apple and Cisco. At Rosetta, Rebecca developed and coordinated brand marketing programs, positioning and messaging for the agency; on the client services side, she managed mixed media campaigns to include display, print, email, search and social networking resources. Rebecca began her design career working on high-end residential design projects, space planning, custom furniture design, FFE material selections and concept development at the San Francisco-based firm, Applegate Tran Interiors.
Rebecca has a passion for community service, and participated in the 2013 San Francisco Decorator Showcase, one of the country’s most revered charity showcase events featuring work from the region’s top designers. She also participated in San Francisco American Red Cross’s largest fundraising event: The Red Cross Charity Gala Dinner, Hope By Design, and serves as a Marketing and Programs Director on the board for LiveLoveLau, a non-profit foundation designed to help bereaved children, where she manages all of the branding, messaging, positioning and marketing programs.
Rebecca holds a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and a master's degree from the Academy of Art University under The School of Interior Architecture and Design.
